Purchases and restoring access

The iPhone app is free to download. Case 142 is a complete free case. Season One is a one-time purchase that unlocks the remaining 14 cases, including the finale. There are no ads, subscriptions or paid hints. The price shown by Apple is the price for your storefront.

Open Season One · Case library on the title screen, then choose Restore purchases. Use the Apple Account that bought the season. An internet connection is needed to purchase or restore. Apple handles billing and refund requests.

Your progress

Completed cases and notes are saved on this device. Purchase restoration restores season access, not progress. Progress does not sync between the iPhone app and the web version. Deleting the app or clearing website storage can remove your progress.

Sound and the opening film

Check device volume, the game's sound control and the film's mute button. You can skip or replay the opening. Reduced Motion may skip automatic film playback. In a browser, sound can require a tap before playback.

Finding your next case

Use the daily assignment or open the case library. Season One owners can play all 15 cases at their own pace. Playing in order is recommended for the story. Season Two has no announced release date and is not included in the Season One purchase.

Fictional evidence

The in-game phone is an authored part of the story. UNSUB does not access your real contacts, messages, photos, camera or microphone.
